Cumin has a similar flavor to coriander, mustard, caraway, and anise. Cumin is just as popularly cultivated for its seeds as it is a culinary garden herb grown to maturity.

Cumin is native to the temperate Mediterranean and has since been embraced for its robust earthiness and sweet bitterness.

Cumin garden seeds mature into a lacey and elegant 12-18" tall plant that looks very similar Queen Anne's Lace.
