Green Zebra Tomato is a fairly recent heirloom that was first released in 1986! It’s popular tomato amongst gourmet chefs, specialty markets, and home gardener.
This tomato is naturally bright lime green stripes that’s sweet, rich and has a tangy flavor to it! Stripes will turn from white to yellow at full ripeness.
The fruit of a Green Zebra tomato plant will grow small and round, with a diameter of 1.5 to 2.5 inches. When ripe, the fruit has green and yellow stripes and weighs 2 to 4 ounces. Although petite, the Green Zebra tomato is considered a “slicer” tomato, making it perfect for cutting up for salads or snacking.
