The Jubilee tomato is a unique heirloom that was first introduced in 1943 and bears large globe shaped tomatoes with very meaty, thick-walled interiors and mild flavor. The fruits are bright orange in color with smooth skin and sweet, meaty flesh that is not acidic with few seeds.
It produce fruits that average about 8 ounces each. The plants, although indeterminate, tend to be short-stemmed and stiff.
The high yielding indeterminate vines benefit from strong staking or caging, and are widely adapted throughout the US except in northernmost portions.
